Five Star

The Pearson family - the UK's answer to the Jacksons apparently. 5 amazingly interchangeable siblings who gave us hits like "System Addict" and "Rain or Shine".

Five star was the first ever concert I went to, I was 15 yrs old and Rain or Shine was in the charts, I saw them in Cardiff on the Crunchie tour...I was hooked! My first single was 'Love take over' I loved the video's, Costumes and dance routines, I learnt to dance from thier routines.I'm now a singer/dancer in Spain and it's all down to them.I also do dance remixes for the UK night clubs, I finally persueded my producer to do a mix of 'The Slightest Touch' which has just been released on Klone Records on a compilation album called 'Mad About The Boy 15' I hope I've done it Justice! I'm still a mad fan!

I saw 5 Star at Preston - my first ever gig - and the tickets were a 14th birthday present. My friend and I had learnt all the dances in my bedrooms and were in our element screaming at them on the night.

Five Star were my first ever gig... I remember a load of costume changes, them coming up onto the stage on a platform, and most exciting of all a free tube of toothpaste from their sponsors, "Ultrabrite"... Which kind of says it all really.
