The Bill
The Bill :
The Bill is still running nowadays and I have been watching it since I was seven (now 23).
The Bill is a long-running drama series about the events that take place at Sun Hill Police Station. Over the years The Bill seems to have got better and better although some of the characters have changed (who remembers Tosh and June anyone?!).
I remember sitting eating Kentucky Fried Chicken with my sister on a Thursday night whilst it was on... ah I wish I was back there again! The well used catchphrase (which doesn't seem to have changed over the years) was "Oi! You're nicked!".

Also remembered...

Alphabet Castle began in 1993 with a series of 26 episodes (each episode dedicated to a letter of the alphabet). It had three main characters: King Alpha, Queen Bet, and Gobbledygook the turkey. It starred Stephen Cannon and the late Joanne Campbell. It was great for teaching us kids how to spell!

I have been watching the bill for 19yrs now.It used to be on 6.30pm monday through thursday here in Australia.Burnside was always my favourite.I remember Viv being shot and the Jaguar with a bomb in it that blew up Sunhill station. And i remember Tosh and June,Brownlow,Cryer and all the other memebers of The Bill.I am a Bill adict.

I used to watch the bill when each episode was individual, a crime was solved without needing to know who was sleeping with who in the station. Why did they have to move this show into the soap opera genre. It would seem now that every officer is bent and when they run out ideas they bomb or burn down the station. Unfortunately now unwatchable unless you are a middle aged soap addict woman ;)

Still watch it now, but like Julian says it was much better when each episode was individual. I do wonder though why they did away with the omnibus edition on a Sunday afternoon, as i remember it used to fit in great with the end of easteneders (which i must add also isnt what it used to be) i remember most of the "old" characters too, burnside, ted roach, tosh lyons etc.
