Competition: Lego Batman: The Videogame
What's better than seeing your favourite toy brought back to life for modern-day enjoyment? Something that combines two of your old favourites, that's what! Which is why we're already huge fans of the new Lego Batman: The Videogame, made by the same people who brought us Lego Star Wars. OK, they're cuter than the big-screen versions, but with Lego Batman you can take control of caped crusaders Batman and Robin, as well as new character Nightwing, to fight Gotham City's usual suspects: The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Two Face and many more. You can even play at being a baddie, complete with all kinds of incredible gadgets. Kapow!
Hot off the press, we have three copies of Lego Batman: The Videogame for Nintendo Wii to give away. To enter, simply recommend DYR to your family and friends. All participants will be submitted into a free draw. The winner will be drawn 8th January 2009.

Anna Ballerina
Anyone remember this children's drama shown around about xmas 1990? It was originally German and featured a young girl called Anna, who overcame a car accident and went on to become a ballerina. It was shown over five days, I think, and there was also a movie where she went to New York. I got the DVD in Germany and, although I don't understand much, it's nice to see it again as I loved ballet and Anna had nice clothes!
Christmas Selection Box
I've fond memories of selection boxes at christmas. I`d start eating my favourites, working out which would be left on the mantlepiece, until someone finally threw it out months later. Usually Turkish Delight or Texan bars were left at the end.
Herbie Popnecker
Herbie Popnecker aka 'The Fat Fury' was a lollipop-powered ... erm... superhero, first featured in Forbidden Worlds comic. Well, maybe not superhero, more the antithesis of - fat, young and short - but he always came out on top and fought for truth, justice and the right to nap and bop the bad guys with a lolly. He could fly, travel through time, you name it.
