The official Doctor Who Annual began as a weekly comic style magazine in October 1979, with a photo of Tom Baker and a Dalek on the front cover. As the years went on it went out as a monthly production and is still going strong today with articles and a comic strip plus interviews with the stars of Doctor Who.
