This was made by Branston though had been brought out by premier foods in 2002. It was very sweet and spicy, lovely in a cheese sarnie! No longer made - in fact after an online plea by Chris Evans on Radio 2 for the return of the defunct Pan Yan pickle the food giant behind the brand admitted that the closely guarded secret recipe had been destroyed in a warehouse fire in 2004! But the recipe was accidentally found in a carpenters shop when someone phoned into the Chris Evans show to say they'd found an old jar on a workshop!
